Wordstock: The Final Chapter

"That's not good enough. That's cowardice. You know that. Everything we've been through? You know that's not good enough. That's just another way of saying that the answers, the endings, don't matter. They do matter. You're just afraid that you won't like them."

About the Event

Maximum Verbosity is holding one last party, and you're invited! A silent auction, some of the Twin Cities' top spoken-word performers, Fringe previews, and beer.

Featured performers include:
- writer/performer Joseph Scrimshaw, producer of Joking Envelope and The Damn Audition
- stand-up comic Ben San Del, creator of A Nice Guy's Guide to Awkward Sex
- writer/director John Heimbuch, producer of Walking Shadow and See You Next Tuesday
- storyteller Mahmoud Hakima, creator of Can Michael Come Out and Play?
- writer/director Anthony Paul, producer of Chopping Block and Beowulf or Gilgamesh

Q: Why are you holding a fundraiser, if there's isn't going to be a Season Nine?
A: Because good God that doesn't mean that there's no need for money. Debts from the last season, outstanding payments, not to mention the final Fringe tour, all require moolah, and it would be lovely to end this stage of our journey in something resembling solvency.
